Eligibility for Law Courses in India

To enroll into the law program (LLB), 10+2 is the minimum qualification sponsored by Bar Council of India. The course takes 5 years to complete. After LLB, you can move to P.G. Programs in law(LLM) that takes 2 years.

Moreover, there are many universities and institutes offering other diploma courses in several disciplines of law besides LLB, including International Law, Tax Laws Administrative Law, Labor Laws, and Corporate Laws etc.

After completing their desired disciples and required eligibility for a particular post, they can find employment in various courts of law, in government service both Central and State government, business houses, organizations, as Magistrate and Sub-Magistrate, Notary, Oath Commissioner, Legal Advisers, Advocate, Writer, Company Secretary legal advisors, Writer, teachers Company Secretary in various companies etc. They can also initiate their own practice as legal advisors, solicitors, advocates, etc.

Salary Packages & Growth

At stating an apprentice or articled clerk earns a salary of Rs 8000/- This will increase substantially over years of experience.  Salaries range from Rs 15,000-25,000 in the government judicial service. The private legal practitioner earns comparatively handsome amount and its all depend on your ability, how you go in your profession.
